AMP has now been served with five class action proceedings on behalf of shareholders.

These proceedings have been originated by: Quinn Emanuel, Phi Finney McDonald, Shine Lawyers, Slater & Gordon and Maurice Blackburn.

AMP is vigorously defending all proceedings. 

AMP is seeking to have these class actions consolidated in the Supreme Court of NSW, which has the broadest class period and a timetable to progress the matter.  In our view this provides the most efficient process and greater certainty for all involved.
