AMP Limited Chairman Catherine Brenner today announced that Andrew Harmos will join the AMP Limited Board as non-executive Director, effective 1 June 2017.

Mr Harmos is a founding director and shareholder of Harmos Horton Lusk Limited, an Auckland-based specialist corporate legal advisory firm. He has significant experience in a wide range of corporate transactions, with expertise in providing strategic board, governance and transaction advice across the Asia-Pacific region.

He was previously Chairman of NZX Limited for seven years, serving as a Director on its board for 13 years, and is currently a non-executive Director of Scentre Group (formerly Westfield Retail Trust).

On behalf of the board, the Chairman welcomed Mr Harmos:

Mr Harmos joined the AMP Life Limited Board as non-executive Director in August 2013 annd is Chairman of its Audit Committee. Mr Harmos is a founding director and shareholder of Harmos Horton Lusk Limited, an Auckland-based specialist corporate legal advisory firm. He has significant experience in a wide range of corporate transactions, with expertise in providing strategic board, governance and transaction advice across the Asia-Pacific region.

He was previously Chairman of NZX Limited for seven years, serving as a Director on its board for 13 years, and is currently a non-executive Director of Scentre Group (formerly Westfield Retail Trust).

He is also a director of Pascaro Investments Limited (a farm investment company) and Elevation Capital Management Limited.

Mr Harmos holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws with honours from the University of Auckland.
