The Full Federal Court today unanimously ruled in favour of AMP’s application to have four shareholder class actions commenced in the Federal Court transferred to the NSW Supreme Court where AMP is also defending a shareholder class action.

AMP welcomes the court’s decision.

Once the transfer occurs, we are hopeful that decisions can be made as to the efficient management of all five proceedings.

AMP will continue to vigorously defend the class actions and denies that it breached its continuous disclosure obligations as alleged.
