AMP Annual General Meeting – COVID-19 update

AMP has today announced a further update to the 2020 annual general meeting (AGM).

As a result of the closure of the proposed AGM venue, The Concourse, Chatswood, the meeting will now be conducted at AMP’s Circular Quay head office (33 Alfred Street, Sydney, NSW). The time and date remain unchanged: Friday, 8 May at 11.00am (Sydney time). Shareholders are not permitted to physically attend the meeting due to Government restrictions and public health advice regarding COVID-19 and social distancing. 

Shareholders can participate in the AGM by:

  • watching the live webcast and asking questions during the meeting which relate to the business of the meeting
  • lodging questions prior to the meeting by emailing shares@amp.com.au or by returning their shareholder questions form included with the printed annual review. Questions should be received by Wednesday, 6 May 2020.
  • lodging their directed proxy to ensure their votes are cast. Proxy forms must be submitted to AMP’s share registry by 11.00am (Sydney time), Wednesday, 6 May 2020 online or by post. Shareholders can lodge a proxy by following the instructions on their personalised proxy form.

Instructions for joining the webcast and asking questions will be made available on the AMP website.

AMP understands the importance of the AGM to shareholders. However, the safety and health of shareholders, clients, employees and the wider community must be the priority.

In the event that it is necessary or appropriate for AMP to make further updates, information will be lodged with the ASX at asx.com.au (stock code: AMP), NZX at www.nzx.com, and AMP’s website at amp.com.au/shares.
