AMP Bank today reminded customers who have been impacted by the current COVID-19 lockdowns that support packages are available including the ability to defer home loan repayments for those experiencing financial pressure.

AMP Bank continues to work with customers to understand their individual circumstances and provide tailored hardship solutions.

AMP Bank’s hardship relief measures for customers may include:

  • A deferral in home loan repayments for clients who are impacted by the current lockdown and who are experiencing ongoing financial challenges as a result of COVID-19
  • Partial payment arrangements
  • Home loan restructures
  • Fee waivers for home loan clients in financial hardship, where applicable
  • Referral to free financial counselling

Since March 2020 AMP Bank has provided relief to more than 4,500 customers and the Bank’s dedicated support team is on hand, ready to help and tailor assistance to suit customers’ circumstances.

AMP Bank Managing Director Sean O’Malley said:

“We’re reminding customers we’re here to help and encourage anyone already financially impacted or worried about how they’ll manage to contact us.”
