AMP Super Fund has won the Momentum award at Super Review’s 10th annual Super Fund of the Year Awards for 2023.
The Super Fund of the Year Awards celebrates Australia’s superannuation sector, bringing together super fund trustees and custodians from across the industry.
The winners were chosen by independent research house SuperRatings, a Lonsec company, drawing on both qualitative and quantitative methodologies and underpinned by SuperRatings’ annual review of funds using an extensive collection of data.
AMP Super took the prize in the Momentum category, awarded to the fund that has made significant progress in completing key projects which will enhance its strategic positioning in coming years.
AMP Super Fund was also a finalist in two further categories: Sustainable Fund of The Year and Advice Offering.
These nominations recognise the significant progress the fund has made in delivering on its sustainability commitments, as well as its provision of a superior advice offering to members over the year.
For the last financial year AMP Super Fund delivered a return of 9.1 per cent for members of its AMP MySuper 1970s superannuation fund option and 9.4 per cent for members of its AMP MySuper 1980s option.
AMP’s leading retirement solution, MyNorth Lifetime, was also a finalist in the Innovator category, with the award celebrating a unique retirement solution that has demonstrated meaningful innovation in the superannuation sector over the last 12 months.
