AMP Limited has announced the appointment of Jenny Fagg as its new Chief Risk Officer (CRO), effective 9 February 2018.
Dr Fagg brings extensive experience in financial services and risk management across leadership roles in Australia and internationally. Her experience includes a 10-year career at ANZ, which included a period as Chief Executive Officer of ANZ New Zealand. She joins AMP from the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) where she was an Executive Vice President.
Dr Fagg was appointed following an extensive search. She will succeed Saskia Goedhart as CRO following a decision by Ms Goedhart to return to Canada for family reasons. Ms Goedhart will remain as AMP’s CRO until 8 February 2018 and Dr Fagg will join AMP on 17 January 2018 to ensure a smooth transition.
Jenny Fagg biography
Jenny Fagg holds a PhD in Management (Risk) from the University of Sydney. She has held senior executive roles in the financial services industry in Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
For 10 years, Dr Fagg held senior executive roles in ANZ Banking Group including serving as the CEO and Managing Director of its New Zealand business. Previous roles with ANZ also included responsibility for risk management, consumer finance and retail distribution.
Most recently she worked for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce as Executive Vice President, Products and Payments.
Dr Fagg has also held senior leadership roles with Citibank and was a director at KPMG.
